AI Firm Lovo Accused of Illegally Replicating Voice Actors' Voices

May 16, 2024

Two voice actors, Paul Skye Lehrman and Linnea Sage, are suing the AI company Lovo for allegedly creating and using unauthorized clones of their voices. The synthetic voices were found in various media, such as a podcast and promotional videos, without the actors' consent. This is claimed to be a violation of trademark and privacy laws, and the actors allege they were misled into providing voice samples.
