In-depth Analysis of the DAO Exploit: A Case Study in Responsible AI Incident Governance

This article delves into the infamous 2016 DAO exploit, a significant event that highlighted the need for robust governance and guardrails in artificial intelligence. We explore how this incident underscores the importance of responsible AI, safe and secure AI practices, and harm prevention in the context of smart contract systems. Through the HISPI Project Cerebellum TAIM, we map, measure, and manage such incidents to foster a more trustworthy digital ecosystem.
