Deepfake Allegations in Hungarian Politics: Péter Magyar Accuses Balázs Orbán

In Hungary, opposition leader Péter Magyar accused Viktor Orbán aide Balázs Orbán of publishing an unlabeled deepfake video on Facebook. The video, reportedly depicting Magyar as stating he would cut and tax pensions ahead of the 2026 parliamentary election, was described by Magyar as defamatory.
