Norwegian Student Reportedly Used AI-Generated Deepfake Videos in Spanish Coursework at University of South-Eastern Norway

An unidentified student at the University of South-Eastern Norway was reportedly found guilty of academic misconduct for submitting deepfake videos in Spanish coursework. The AI-generated videos, which exhibited unusual facial movements and inconsistent language ability, were deemed to violate academic integrity. This is one of the first confirmed cases in Norway where deepfakes were used for cheating purposes.
