Victims were tricked into visiting deceptive sites where their card details were stolen, resulting in unauthorized large charges.

This scam, which originated in late May 2025, garnered numerous complaints from both the impersonated physicians and defrauded consumers, emphasizing the need for responsible AI practices and increased governance.
