Purported Deepfake Impersonating Sudha Murty Reportedly Promoted Quantum AI India Investment Scam via Spoofed News Link

December 19, 2025

A deepfake video, falsely representing Rajya Sabha MP and Infosys Foundation chairperson Sudha Murty, was circulated on social media. The deceptive video prompted viewers to click a link for supposed investment opportunities, which directed users to a spoofed news website collecting personal information and promoting a bogus 'Quantum AI India' investment platform. Murty publicly cautioned that the video was AI-generated and fraudulent.
