Purported Deepfake TikTok Account Using Grainville School Branding in Jersey Reportedly Targeted Staff, Prompting Police Probe

A controversial TikTok account, which appeared to use the logo and branding of Grainville School in Jersey (Channel Islands), is said to have posted five deeply disturbing deepfake videos. These AI-generated clips allegedly contained material featuring school staff, sparking a police investigation. The Education and Lifelong Learning Minister has reported these concerns to TikTok and the States of Jersey Police, asking the public not to disseminate the content. Notably, the account was later taken down.
