Suspected AI-Generated Video Spreads on Social Media Allegedly Showing Bulgarian Politician Kostadin Kostadinov Falling

A video, allegedly generated by artificial intelligence, purportedly depicting Bulgarian politician Kostadin Kostadinov tripping during a June 8 protest against the adoption of the euro in Bulgaria circulated on social media. The clip appears to have been created from a still image captured at the event and shows a partially obscured Haliuo AI watermark. Multiple accounts reposted the video, which reportedly garnered over one million views.
