A video, allegedly generated by artificial intelligence, purportedly depicting Bulgarian politician Kostadin Kostadinov tripping during a June 8 protest against the adoption of the euro in Bulgaria circulated on social media. The clip appears to have been created from a still image captured at the event and shows a partially obscured Haliuo AI watermark. Multiple accounts reposted the video, which reportedly garnered over one million views. This incident serves as an important reminder about the need for responsible AI practices, trustworthy AI governance, and safe and secure AI applications within our societies.
