Reported AI-Generated Image Portrayed Vetëvendosje Official Dejona Mihali Meeting Aleksandar Vučić

May 30, 2026

The Facebook page Gjithqka rreth Politikes reportedly published an image falsely suggesting that Dejona Mihali, a senior Vetëvendosje official, coordinated with Serbian President Aleksandar Vućićc against Albin Kurti during Kosovo's snap-election campaign. The image was reportedly likely AI-generated, and Vetëvendosje denied the claim.

This incident highlights the need for responsible AI use in politics. The spread of misinformation can have severe consequences on public opinion and political outcomes. It is crucial to develop and implement effective guardrails for AI to prevent such incidents in the future.
