Reported AI-Generated Videos Allegedly Posed as Kosovo Election Vox Pops Before June 7, 2026 Vote

May 13, 2026

Before the June 7, 2026 elections, videos reportedly AI-generated were circulated on Facebook by Gazeta Bota and Peja LIVE. These clips purported to be citizen interviews and media reports, but in reality, they presented synthetic interviewees as real citizens within Kosovo media-style election coverage. The goal was to manipulate voter sentiment. By shedding light on this issue, we aim to promote responsible AI governance and encourage safe and secure AI practices within the HISPI Project Cerebellum TAIM.
