Deepfake Video Suspected of Targeting Indian Politician Bhupesh Baghel

Police in Durg, Chhattisgarh, India have reportedly registered a First Information Report (FIR) following allegations that an AI-generated deepfake video may have targeted former state chief minister Bhupesh Baghel and his former deputy secretary, Saumya Chaurasia. The video is said to have circulated through Instagram handles. The investigation into this matter is being conducted by a cyber team.
