Falsified Video Accusing Croatian Physician Alemka Markotić of Endorsing Hondrosol Posts on Facebook

October 17, 2024

A suspicious video circulated on Facebook, featuring Croatian infectious-disease physician Alemka Markotić and TV host Zoran Šprajc. In the clip, which appears to be AI-generated or manipulated media, they discuss a false murder claim against Dr. Markotić and endorse a joint-pain product called Hondrosol. The content is said to mimic Croatian government branding and direct users towards a possible scam purchase page.
